This publication presents the results of the survey on the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in households and by individuals 2022. The sample survey was conducted by Statistics Austria using an EU-wide questionnaire, standardized definitions and uniform methods on the basis of an EU legal framework that is mandatory for Austria.
The publication contains data at household level on internet access and at individual level on internet use, its frequency and purposes as well as online shopping and e-government. Additionally, the topics “Internet of Things” and “ICT and sustainability” were covered in 2022.
